Where we're headed

Take a picture of your insurance card or prescription bottle and Arik pulls the details in automatically — no typing plan numbers or drug names by hand. This is a real engineering project of its own (accurately reading a photo is a different problem than reading text), so it's planned, not promised for a specific date.

Full voice input and output, so anyone who finds typing or reading small text difficult can use Arik just as easily by talking. We're being careful here — we'd rather ship real, tested accessibility than claim it before it's actually been built and verified.

Grant someone you trust — an adult child, a spouse, a home health aide — their own caregiver login to your account, so they can check for the best deal on your behalf every time, without you having to do it yourself. This needs real account infrastructure we haven't built yet, so it's a deliberate next phase, not a quick add-on.

Prescription costs are the beachhead, not the ceiling. The same evidence-first approach — check every legal pathway, show the sourcing, never guess — is meant to eventually extend to other healthcare costs: procedures, equipment, and the other places people quietly overpay because nobody made the real options visible.
